How can I alter the Disk Usage settings to make scanning quicker or the results more comprehensive?
When using Disk Usage, you may want to expand the search to files greater than a certain size, and limit the results to a specific number. Finding files with a minimum file size makes scanning a lot quicker, and so does limiting the list of results.
- Under the Mac Optimizer menu, click Preferences…
- Click the Disk Usage icon.
- Enter a minimum file size, and choose a size measurement (bytes to terabytes) from the dropdown menu.
- Enter a maximum value for the number of search results.
